Description Sanitary cabins and changing cubicles

Complete sanitary cabins for changing rooms and washrooms

A sanitary cabin is a complete, lockable space comprising partitions, a door, hardware and fixing profiles. It is used wherever people need privacy to change or prepare for a shower. Typical applications include changing cubicles in sports halls, walk-through cubicles in swimming pools and combined shower and changing cubicles in wellness, workplace and leisure facilities. The layout is tailored to the available space, circulation routes and required level of privacy. The result is not a standalone screen, but an integrated, functional cabin system.

Compact HPL for intensive use in damp environments

For wet and intensively used areas, we generally recommend 10 or 12 mm Compact HPL. This self-supporting sheet material is water-resistant, rigid and highly resistant to impact, wear and scratching. Its closed surface is easy to clean and limits the places where dirt and deposits can collect. Depending on the application and budget, laminated chipboard or other panel constructions can also be considered for dry areas. The final material, panel thickness and hardware are always selected to match the moisture exposure, intensity of use and required appearance.

From a single cubicle to a complete custom layout

Every site has different dimensions and circulation routes. We therefore manufacture sanitary cabins to measure in straight, L-shaped and T-shaped layouts. A T-shaped layout can, for example, combine a wet shower area with a dry zone for clothes or a towel. Width, depth, height, door swing, profiles, adjustable feet, hardware and accessories are tailored to the project. Increased privacy, floor-to-ceiling construction, reinforced doors, a bench or coat hooks can also be included. The systems are suitable for both new-build and refurbishment projects.

Design, delivery and installation from one specialist

A durable cabin starts with an accurate site survey. LockerSpecialist checks the walls, floor, dimensions, door swings, falls and connections to other sanitary facilities. We then provide a proposal covering the layout, materials, colours and hardware. Once manufactured, our specialists deliver and install the cabins on site. Because we also supply moisture-resistant lockers for changing rooms and benches and cloakroom fittings, we can create one coordinated changing and washroom interior.

The products in the category Sanitary cabins are rated by our customers at 10.0 out of 10.0 based on 9 reviews.

Frequently asked questions about sanitary cabins

A sanitary cabin is a complete lockable space made up of panels, a door, hardware and fixing profiles. It is used for changing, walk-through changing or a combination of showering and changing. It therefore provides a complete enclosure rather than a standalone partition.

Our toilet partitions page focuses on partition systems and cubicles around toilets. The sanitary cabins on this page are complete changing, walk-through and combination cabins for changing rooms and washrooms. This keeps the applications of the two product types clearly distinct.

Options include single changing cubicles, walk-through changing cubicles and combined shower and changing cabins. They can be configured in straight, L-shaped or T-shaped layouts. Custom designs can also include separate wet and dry zones, a bench, clothes or towel hooks, doors and increased privacy.

Yes. Compact HPL is moisture-resistant, dimensionally stable and suitable for intensively used wet areas. The hardware, profiles, fixings and seals must also be selected for the intended environment.

Yes. Width, depth, height, door size, opening direction, colour, hardware and accessories are tailored to the room and its users. This also makes it possible to accommodate unusual angles and existing conditions in many refurbishment projects.

Yes. A floor-to-ceiling design provides greater visual and acoustic privacy. Ventilation, safety, cleaning and any building requirements must be considered at the design stage.

Yes. A cabin can be designed with additional manoeuvring space, a suitable door width and opening direction, level access and additional facilities. The exact design is tailored to the project and applicable accessibility requirements.

Yes. We survey the existing room and check the floors, walls, connection points and dimensions in advance. Wherever possible, the new system is integrated with the existing setting to limit major demolition work.

Compact HPL can generally be cleaned with a soft cloth and a suitable mild washroom cleaner. Avoid abrasive products and always follow the maintenance instructions for the selected panels, profiles and hardware.
